Did you know… that I’m not “just” a dog photographer??
I say “just” because being a dog photographer is something I’m very proud of, and it’s an important part of who I am! But, this part of my career has MANY years of experience and learning behind it, and a lifetime of working with and understanding pets - dogs specifically. All of this has led me to where I am today.
Let's dive right in: with close to 40 years of pet experience, I've been living and breathing the life of a pet professional for as long as I can remember. From my days as a professional dog trainer, to diving head-first into the thrilling world of dog sports including Flyball, Disc Dog, Agility, and even a little Herding and Obedience, plus my years in the retail pet industry management, I've done it all. And let's not forget my 23+ years as the owner of a Dogsitting business, Hug-a-Pup, where I’ve created a comfortable homestyle setup for dogs of all shapes and sizes to relax and enjoy themselves while their families are away.

And… did you know that I have one “stray” from the pet world??
I have a three-year Music diploma as a Jazz Vocalist! What?! Now that’s a bit of a 180-degree shift, eh? Well, with my musical experience and a background in theatre, I have an extra boost of creativity and a connection to emotional storytelling - skills that come in handy when creating images of your dog that tug at your heartstrings!
